Stylish ABCs on Parade! Our Jefferson Kindergarten students gave the alphabet a fashionable flair this year! With help from Miss Mayes County Leah White, students dressed up in creative outfits representing their assigned letters and paraded through the halls in an ABC Fashion Show. It was a fun, fabulous way to practice letters—and a memory they won’t forget! #PryorTigerStrong

Happy Nurse Appreciation Day! 🩺 Today, we celebrate the heart, compassion, and calm in the chaos—our amazing school nurses! Whether it’s a scraped knee, a sudden fever, or just someone needing a little extra care, our nurses are always there with a steady hand and a kind heart. Thank you for being our frontline heroes and for taking such great care of our Tigers! Tag your favorite school nurse and help us say thank you for all they do!

🎶 Pryor Band Instrument Trial Night! 🎶 Do you have a student interested in joining the band? Jefferson Elementary Field Trip for Second-Fifth Grade Students. We are going to New Life Ranch on May 14, 2025, for Super Kids Day! To attend the field trip, each student must pay five dollars and submit a signed waiver by May 9th. Students should prepare to wear weather-appropriate clothing for both inside and outside interactive activities. We are looking forward to a great day at New Life Ranch!

This week Jefferson 3rd through 5th graders learned about different careers from community members who work locally. Thank you Pryor Fire Department, Terry Thompson with RAE Corporation, Hannah Giddeon with Crossland Construction, Ruth Miller (Nurse) , Kennedy Fannin (Hairdresser), and Grace Rutherford (Pilot). When students develop a passion for a future career path, they can apply that passion to learning and growth in the classroom. We can't wait to see the positive impact our students will make in their future careers!
