This week was a big one on the diamond for the baseball and slow pitch softball teams.
The Pryor Tigers baseball team secured the Class 5A-4 District Title after sweeping McAlester on Monday and Tuesday night. The Tigers finished at 11-1 in District play and are currently 21-10 overall. The Tigers will host Regionals in two weeks.
On the Softball side, the Tigers took care of business in the District Tournament by defeating Sperry, 15-3, then beating Checotah twice(16-2, 14-1). The Tigers, who are 31-4 overall, are ranked #2 in Class 5A and will host Regionals next week.
