Basketball, Swimming and Wrestling are starting back up this week after a brief winter break.
On the court, Pryor basketball went 4-0 on their trip to Kansas City in December. Both the boys and girls won two games apiece at the Twelve Courts of Christmas Classic in Kansas City. January got off to a hot start for the girls as they took down Tahlequah 52-36 on Tuesday night. The boys lost to Tahlequah but will look to get back on track this weekend at the Oologah Tournament. The girls will also be in action at the Oologah tournament that starts on Thursday. Both teams will return home on January 14th for a district matchup with Tulsa Edison starting at 6 PM with the girls game. The Pryor Invitational Tournament will be January 23-25 inside the Burdick Center.
On the mat, the Tigers battled Glenpool on Tuesday night. The boys took the dual against the Warriors, 48-27. The boys and girls teams will travel to Tahlequah for a dual on Thursday. Their next home dual with be January 16th against Fort Gibson. The Doug Rial Memorial Tournament will be January 31st in the Burdick Center.
In the pool, the Pryor Swim team will kick off 2025 on January 16th at Bixby.
