On Homecoming night, the Tigers played like Kings. The packed Tiger Stadium got to witness the Pryor Tigers (3-1, 1-0) make quick work of the Tulsa Will Rogers Ropers. It took just two plays for the Tigers to score on their first possession as Kaden Rice ran it in from 10 yards out. On the second possession, Braden Ward found Rice for a two-yard touchdown pass.
The third possession was more of the same as the drive was capped off with a 7-yard touchdown pass from Braden Ward to twin brother Brock Ward. The younger Tigers got their chance to shine under the Friday night lights late in the 2nd quarter as all the Pryor starters got the rest of the night off.
The Ropers got into the end zone for their only score of the night with under a minute to go in the game.
Pryor improves to 1-0 in district play and will head to Tahlequah next week before returning home in two weeks to face the Claremore Zebras.
