Board of Education
The Pryor Public Schools Board of Education is responsible for adopting policies, overseeing the budget, and monitoring the district’s progress. Board members are elected to serve five-year terms, with each member representing a specific ward within the school district.
To serve, board members must reside within the district, maintaining a close connection to the community they represent. Through their leadership and oversight, the Pryor Board of Education ensures the district continues to thrive and meet its strategic objectives.

5. Superintendent's Report
Our Symphonic Band earned Superior Ratings from all 3 judges in both concert and sight reading. Because the marching band received a superior rating this fall, the band also earned the Sweepstakes Award for OSSAA! Our concert band also earned high marks, receiving an excellent rating on stage and a superior rating in Sight-reading. Pryor is one of only 6 high schools in class 5A that have two performing ensembles at state contest.
Our Winter Guard, under the direction of Becky Freeman placed third at the State Contest on March 29th at Yukon. This is the highest placement in the history of our Winter Guard program!
Congratulations to the Pryor High School LifeSmarts team for taking 2nd place in the nation in the informational video category and to Ryleigh Hill for placing third individually in the Health and Safety category test.
Congratulations to Gavin Roberts, voted District 5A-2 baseball MVP, and Gerald Osborne, voted coach of the year. Clinton Stohler, Carter Sloan, Sergio Banuelos, Riley Hurst, Jaron Bailey, Bryce Pathkiller, and Brock Ward were all named to the All-District team. Treyce Crawford and Chase Johnson received Honorable Mention.
Congratulations to the slow pitch softball team for their regional championship! The team will play in the state championship later this week.
