Board of Education

The Pryor Public Schools Board of Education is responsible for adopting policies, overseeing the budget, and monitoring the district’s progress. Board members are elected to serve five-year terms, with each member representing a specific ward within the school district.

To serve, board members must reside within the district, maintaining a close connection to the community they represent. Through their leadership and oversight, the Pryor Board of Education ensures the district continues to thrive and meet its strategic objectives.

Approval of TimeClock Plus renewal for the 2025-2026 year 

Approval of the Pryor Middle School Handbook for the 2025-2026 school year.

Approval for FFA students and staff to travel out-of-state for the following events between  July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026: Career Development Events in Kansas, Missouri, and  Arkansas; Livestock Shows in Kanas Missouri, and Arkansas; Leadership conferences,  activities, and camps that students may qualify for ; Reward Trips for qualifying students;  and for FFA staff to travel out of state to buy student SAEs and to deliver student SAEs for  processing.

Voted to enter into executive session pursuant to tit. 25, §307 B.1 to discuss the following  items: Any resignations or retirements tendered. Hiring of Certified Personnel on a  temporary contract for the 2025-2026 school year; Hiring Classified Personnel on a  temporary contract for the 2025-2026 school year. [Title 25 O.S. Voted to approve the resignations of Amanda Walsh – High School English Teacher and  Amy Thomas – Lincoln Elementary Paraprofessional. 

Voted to approve adding the following certified position for the 2025-2026 school year: 1.5  Math Interventionist - Elementary. 

Voted to approve hiring the following Certified Personnel on a temporary contract for the  2025-2026 school year: Tabitha Bogar- Lincoln Elementary Math Interventionist, Courtney  Stookey- Pryor Middle School Science Teacher, Hope Roach- Roosevelt Elementary  Teacher, and Turquoise Love- Jefferson Elementary Teacher. 

Voted to approve hiring the following Classified Personnel on a temporary contract for the  2025-2026 school year: Ruth McVey- Lincoln Elementary Paraprofessional, Ayden Alcon District Custodian, Samantha Burrus- District Custodian, Jenna Inman - LECC Teacher  Assistant, Mia Hastings- LECC Teacher Assistant, Sharrielee Holman- Roosevelt  Elementary Paraprofessional, Mayce Antoine- LECC Teacher Assistant , and Nate Ratcliff - High School Teacher Assistant. 

Voted to approve the re-employment of Certified Staff as submitted in Attachment A for  2025-2026 school year. 

Voted to approve hiring the following Lay Coach Personnel on a temporary contract for the  2025-2026 school year: Meagan Mitchell- High School Cheer. 

Voted to approve hiring the following Administrative Personnel for 2025 Summer School:  Amber Wilkins, Melinda Thornton, Morgan Wood. 

Voted to approve extra duty, professional development stipends and salary adjustments as  submitted for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Voted to approve payment for compensatory time earned for the December 2024 through  June 2025 school year. 

Voted to approve modifications to the Superintendent's contract. 

Voted to approve revisions to the School District Budget for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Voted to approve Agreement with Opaa! to serve as the Food Service Management  Company for the District for the 2025-2026 school year. 

Voted to approve selected instructional materials for Fine Arts and Instructional  Technology. 

Superintendent's Report 

Congratulations to several of our girls’ soccer players for earning post-season honors. Delanie Sherrer is a 2025 Oklahoma 5A All State player 

Siena Ramming, Kaylee Littlefield, and Caylee Kerr were all named to the 5A District 3 All  District team. Journey Nunley was 5A District 3 Honorable Mention 

Congratulations to the following Track athletes for receiving honorable mention for the  Tulsa World "All World" team: Journey Nunley, Braycee Trundle, Ally Martin, Caitlin White,  Lilyan Casey, Brooklyn Keenan, and Gage LaFrere. 

Congratulations to Gavin Roberts for being named to the Baseball "All World" team and  Riley Hurst, Jaron Bailey, and Sergio Banuelos for receiving honorable mention.
