Let me introduce you to the fabulous Mrs Doyle! She is a part of our amazing fifth grade team.

The best thing about Mrs. Doyle is that when you walk into her classroom you feel like you have been invited to a show inside a marvelous theater! She has a way of captivating your attention and bringing life to everything she teaches!

This is Mrs. Doyle’s 15th year in teaching. What she loves most about teaching is when her students take the learning even further than she had planned, asking questions she doesn’t know the answer to, going much deeper in the discussions, and making those light-bulb connections!

Mrs. Doyle has been married to Zac for 14 years and they have three children- Addilyn, Reldon and Harper. She strives for all of her students to know their worth and their strengths when they leave her classroom.
We are blessed to have her on our team!

Another amazing and hard working teacher on our team is Ms. Troyer who teaches 3rd grade.

Ms. Troyer and her daughter

Ms. Troyer is a prime example that it’s never too late to follow your dreams and take a different path in life! A few years ago she decided she needed a career change and one that would be fulfilling and bring her more purpose in life! She thought back to all the times in her life that made her happy and realized being around children had truly brought her such joy in life. She remembered how her 5th grade teacher had been such a light in her life when she was facing such hard times and she wanted to be that for someone else.
Ms. Troyer is the mom to a beautiful girl named Jayden who is in first grade. When Ms. Troyer isn’t teaching, she loves to go to the movies, hang out at the creek with family, and also write stories! She wants her students to remember to be kind, be safe, and be respectful. We are lucky to have Ms. Troyer on our team and thankful her life took a different path!

Lincoln Canned Food Drive-Bedlam Style

During this chaotic time, there is something we can do to help our community. Lincoln has set a goal of 600 canned food items.

The Pryor Ministry Center is also in need of blankets, coats and gloves.
Learners will need to bring donated items to the cafeteria upon arrival. Your learner will need to place canned food items by the designated area for the team of their choice (OU or OSU).

There will also be a designated place to leave the non-food items. On Friday, the 20th we encourage everyone to wear their bedlam attire! The winner will be announced by the end of the day.

Here's an Opportunity to Help Our Learners

We hope your family is safe and healthy! We want to give your child the best education possible, and our teachers need your help. Due to the pandemic and tighter budgets, we need to raise funds for the essential tools our teachers need to help our students succeed.

In light of current events, student and staff safety has become our most important issue. That’s why we are partnering with a company that specializes in safe, no-contact fundraising. They have helped schools like ours raise more than $150 million dollars.

This safe and easy fundraiser is 100% online so there is no face-to-face selling, collecting money, or delivering products. Participation only takes 12 minutes, and your child will win fun and exciting prizes. Every student will receive a valuable Wild Republic Hugger or earbuds, just for participating. More prizes will be rewarded when goals are reached. Please help now. It really will make a difference.

Go to Lincoln's School Store to show our valued teachers your support.

PS: Family participation is the key to our success, and we are counting on you!

flu shot

Stop the Spread

The Oklahoma State Superintendent, Joy Hofmeister, says that getting your flu vaccination is “more important than ever” because “health care institutions are already stretched thin by the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The CDC has provided a list of things that will help to stop the spread of the flu virus. There are three main actions you can take this year: get vaccinated, stop the spread--wash your hands and social distance, and ask your doctor about flu antivirals!

Any steps taken to prevent the spread of both COVID-19 and the flu are very important. “It’s vital that we work together to maintain safe learning environments for our children.”
