Dear Parent or Guardian:

In the spring of 2020 there were many challenges.  As we navigated our new circumstances during the worldwide pandemic, your child was placed on a distance learning plan.  The IEP for your child was adjusted to meet these new needs as we learned together about this new setting.

Your child’s IEP teacher and related service providers made attempts to reach you and your child during this time to provide those services.  The district special education teachers have conducted internal reviews of the IEPs and tracking documents to clarify that your child was participating in the services offered.

If you feel the services on your child’s IEP were not appropriately addressed during the spring of 2020 while all schools were using distance learning, please contact your child’s IEP teacher so we can meet and discuss these issues.
